You have not truly partied until you party at Lev Aharon. We mark all Jewish Holidays and special Yeshiva events with parties, where students and Rabbis celebrate with dancing, music, and delicious food.
Several times a year we hold backgammon tournaments, with prizes for the top winners.
Our weekly Thursday night Mishmar is a great way to cap off the week of learning. The event begins with a brachot party on refreshments, followed by an interesting class on all different topics from Rabbis of the yeshiva and guest lecturers.
Incentive programs are offered throughout the years, for students who excel in attendance and other participation. Prizes include trips and other special items.
Guest Speakers and Seminars
Throughout the year, the yeshiva welcomes well-known guest speakers to address the students. In addition, special seminars on important topics are held, including on Rambam’s Principals of Faith. Workshops are also held, including Tzitzit and Shatnez workshops.
Siyumim are a meaningful and special celebration of student’s achievements over the course of the year. We top them off with live music, food, and Divrei Torah.
Shabbatot In Yeshiva and Out
Shabbatot are a great time to experience Israeli family life. For Shabbatot at the Yeshiva, the Rabbis and their families join the students for meals and Oneg Shabbatot. For out Shabbatot, the boys are set up with families for meals, where they are able to experience a Jerusalem Shabbat.
Several times a year the yeshiva spends special Shabbatot around Israel, including the north and Ramat Eshkol. These Shabbatot include meals at Israeli families, oneg shabbatot, guest speakers, and special events.
